Hi Everyone!
Jess had a busy weekend. She pushed herself a little too much, I think, but she wants to make herself stronger. I figured that it would catch up with her and when she text me today, it had. She and her pup, Rylie, were out on the couch. She was super tired. I told her that she needed to stay there and make sure that she was drking enough fluids. I know that it is probably good for her to do stuff, but it also always worries me. Always a Mom :) She has to go to Medford in the morning to have the bumps on her chest checked out. She is thinking that it is just a break out from the night sweats and the chemo. But they are worried that the port and lines are getting infected. They wanted her to come in tomorrow for a quick check, just to make sure. Shane is taking the day off of school tomorrow to take her. She of course said that she would go by herself, but we said no. I know that she wants to be as normal as possible...but lets be realstic...driving to Medford isn't. I will let you know how it all turns out. Please keep her in your prayers.
Love to all, Cindi
You know, Cindi, that's your right - to be a GOOD mother, and any good mother takes an active role in their children's well-being, plus it's part of a good Mom's responsibility! It sounds like there are a few minor issues, but overall, it sounds like things are going relatively well. I know with prayer and God, Jess will be fine soon! Our family keeps Jess and all of you in our prayers daily! I pray that things go well and pray for Jess's good health! Richard continually tells me what a tough gal she is and comments on her strength - he believes this is just yet another test of her strength and faith. We shall continue our prayers and keep sending positive thoughts your way.
