Well Jess and Jon got back from Portland today..she was super tired but we feel like the trip went well. Hopefully when the new protocol starts it won't be so intense. We won't see it for sure until the next chemo/spinal on Feb 7th.. It would be nice to finally only have a spinal once every three months..hopefully the IV chemo will be spread out like that too. So I will let you know if I hear anything new..
Rob called tonight. It was really good to hear his voice. He hadn't called in awhile but I talk to him through facebook messages about every other day. I found out that his one pkg never made it there so that really upset me. I had his magazines and lots of food that he liked in there. I don't know what happened to it since he got the one. So I'm going to go buy some more stuff and get it mailed as soon as I can. He said that it is colder than heck there and dark all the time for him it seems but he is getting a good schedule down with going to the gym with some guys that he works with. So that is good to hear. I miss him bunches and can't wait for him to be back in the states. Well I'm off for now. Thanks for checking in. Please keep them both in your prayers. Love to all, Cindi

ReplyDeleteBoy, things have been hectic for me lately, so my apologies for not getting on here sooner!
Well, hopefully by now Jess isn't feeling quite as tired as she was when she got home from Portland. We're hopeful that Jess will be able to have those spinals once every three months. I'm sure Jess would be over the top about that, so we'll definitely include that in our prayers! And if the chemo goes like that, well, life is good! And just think how far she's come since the beginning of this bit of her journey of life! All of you must be feeling so happy about how far she's come!
Well that just blows about Rob's package! Remind me at school that you'll be sending another one because I'd like to throw something in for him, as well. I think it is so great that you can visit with him via Facebook in addition to the phone calls! =D
Well, off for now! We always have your kids in our prayers and know that God is constantly guiding and watching over them very closely! He's really awesome at those kinds of things! :)
