Hi Everyone!
Jess got released from the hospital yesterday! She was very happy and so were we :) Since the staph infection hadn't traveled anywhere else and the culture they took didn't grow they felt it was safe to send her on her way...just with lots of antibiotics. She is looking really good and they let her know what signs to look for if it came back or got worst: headache, chest pain, shortness of breath, pounding heart, and purple lips or finger nails. Wow! I was like seriously?? She told them about her gall bladder but they didn't seem worried about it. They are just keeping an eye on her heart (which I am thankful). The cancer center called today and said that they are going to do her port on Weds since the cultures are still good. I am glad but a little nervous. Jon said that he will take her, so I will sit at home and pace, lol. That is all for now. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for checking. Please keep her in your prayers. Love to all, Cindi

ReplyDeleteWow, it sounds like things, despite a few minor bumps along the way, are progressing nicely! Ah! Just what the good Lord had in mind! Jess is going to pull out of all of this and be healthy and happy soon! Please remember, as you face the challenges of each new day, that all of you are cared for deeply and prayed for constantly. :)
